Brake to Break

This poem was inspired by a #WritersWednesday post I follow on Instagram. Every Wednesday the founder of #KingdomWriters posts a random pic and all of us writers are encouraged to write whether it's a poem, lyric, thoughts, etc.

Here is what I wrote and I pray this is encouragement for those who read:

I can't be fixed or boxed in. Every time I break out, I see the reality of what's before me. I brake to the constant motion of life, the constant lies, the signs of demise. My spirit being carried away by opinions and thoughts of others, my rebellion silencing them all. Brake to Break.
